Linocut Art Print ‘Waiting For Snow’

Regular price £50.00

For all the lovely cat and animal lovers, here is a handmade linocut art print for your home to celebrate our feline companions, and their unique quirks!

We all know that cats really rule the roost! Here's one that is inspired by my studio companion, our resident moggy, Belle, watching the snow flakes from the relative warmth and comfort of our windowsill.

The colour palette of the print is also inspired by 'A Hazy shade of Winter', the famous Simon and Garfunkel song. Two beautiful colours : charcoal grey and mocha are available.

Sketched in life, and then handcarved on to a lino sheet using fine tools and details, this art print will be perfect for a cat loving home, and a constant reminder of our precious little friends. Done in a contemporary style, this will suit any modern or traditional interior decor, and a great gift for Mother's or Father's Day, an excellent companion in a children's room or nursery, and a uniquely original birthday present.

The print can be gift wrapped for free in beautiful acid free tissue paper, or, can be framed, ready to be given as a gift, in an elegant contemporary flat white or black wooden frame that complements the look of the design.

If ordered unframed, the print will be sent flat-packed with a sturdy backing, and if framed it will be posted in a secure box.

All my handmade prints are limited edition and each print is inked and printed individually, hence making it completely unique.

Each print is signed, numbered and titled in pencil by me on the front. This specific edition in each colour is a limited run of 25, printed with environmentally friendly, oil-based inks on acid-free smooth 145 gsm Zerkall printing paper.

The main image size is appx 10 x 15 cm, and is printed on a 20 x 25 cm paper with a generous margin for framing. The frames are appx 23 x 27 cm in size.
